You can sign in using supported providers such as Apple or Google, then complete your Deck profile when prompted. Authentication is handled through the supported identity provider and backend account systems. Some features may require phone verification before they become available.
Your public Deck profile normally uses a display name, emoji avatar, optional Premium profile photo, and optional profile banner. Your email address and phone number are not intended to be shown to other users through ordinary app screens. However, do not treat the Service as guaranteed anonymous. Your content, writing style, uploaded images, public interactions, reports, legal process, provider records, or information you choose to share may identify you.
Phone verification may be required before posting, commenting, or using certain Deck features. It helps reduce spam, duplicate-account abuse, ban evasion, impersonation, and manipulation. Your phone number is processed for verification and safety purposes and is not shown to other users through ordinary product flows.
Yes. You can update your display name and emoji avatar from your profile. Display names may be checked for availability and moderation. Emoji avatars remain available to users without Premium.
Private profile mode can hide your profile history, followers, and following from profile visitors. It does not make your public posts or comments private, and it does not remove content that other users have already seen, quoted, reported, saved, screenshotted, or interacted with.
Go to Account & Privacy > Delete Account. The current flow deactivates the account and schedules permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind before the deadline, sign back in and explicitly restore the account. Account deletion does not cancel an active Apple subscription; you must cancel through Apple separately.
Tap the "+" button on the Deck tab. Choose a category, add a title and body, optionally select a flair, and optionally add an image if the feature is available. Your account must be ready and may need phone verification before posting. Posts may publish immediately, be rejected, or be held for review.
Categories help organise posts by topic, including Hobbies, Sports, Politics, Makan, and General. Choose the most relevant category and flair. Misusing categories, flooding feeds, or posting sensitive content in an unrelated category may lead to moderation.
Deck Score is an internal reputation and rate-limit signal based on activity, quality signals, moderation status, and community interactions. It may affect tiers, cooldowns, posting limits, or visibility of account standing. It is not a credential, endorsement, professional assessment, or guarantee of content quality.
Posts and comments can be boosted or downvoted. Votes may affect counts, ranking, notifications, Deck Score, and other internal product signals. Vote manipulation, coordinated voting, multiple-account voting, and retaliation voting are not allowed.
Yes. Signed-in users can save Deck posts and comments for later. Saved items may become unavailable if content is deleted, hidden, removed, or blocked by moderation or account state.
Yes. You can follow users where the feature is available and no block or account restriction prevents it. Following may generate notifications for the followed user depending on their settings. Users may hide followers and following through privacy settings.
Tap the three-dot menu on a post or comment and select Report. Choose a reason such as spam, harassment, hate speech, misinformation, inappropriate content, or other. Reports may be rate-limited and reviewed using automated tools, AI-assisted review, human review, or a combination of signals. Do not file false, duplicate, retaliatory, or abusive reports.
Content may be rejected, held for review, hidden, removed, or restored based on the Community Guidelines, trust and safety signals, user reports, banned-word checks, image safety tools, AI-assisted screening, or human review. Common reasons include harassment, hate speech, misinformation, spam, privacy violations, NSFW content, graphic content, manipulation, or legal risk.
Some posts, comments, images, reports, warnings, or account actions may be queued for review. Review does not guarantee approval or a particular response time. Content under review may be invisible or limited until a decision is made.
Some warnings may show a review or contest option in the app. Submit a clear explanation if you believe the warning was incorrect. A review request does not guarantee reversal, restored content, restored Deck Score, restored tier, or a fixed response time.
Tap the three-dot menu on a post, comment, or profile where available and select Block. You can manage blocks from Account & Privacy > Blocked Users.
When you block a user:
Yes. Go to Settings > Account & Privacy > Blocked Users. Tap "Unblock" next to the user you wish to unblock. Their posts will reappear in your feed and they will be able to comment on your posts again.
Void Deck can send you notifications for:
Notifications are convenience alerts only. They may be delayed, missing, duplicated, suppressed, or inaccurate because of device settings, network conditions, APNs, backend jobs, provider data, or user preferences.
Go to your profile or relevant domain settings. You can toggle notification types on or off. Weather and dengue alerts require an area selection. MRT disruption alerts require selected lines. Deck social notifications require sign-in. Public notification preferences may be linked to your device even when you are not signed in.
Check iPhone Settings > Notifications > Void Deck, then check the relevant in-app toggle. Also confirm that the required area, line, or account setting is selected. Signing out and back in may refresh account-linked state, but delivery can still depend on APNs, backend processing, network conditions, provider data, and whether the alert type is currently available.
Current Premium features focus on profile personalization, such as custom profile photos, profile banners, and accent themes. Premium features may change over time. Premium media remains subject to moderation, upload limits, file limits, and account restrictions.
Do not assume Premium removes all ads unless the in-app purchase screen expressly says so for the product you are buying. The current app may still request or display ads depending on consent state, device settings, region, ad availability, and app configuration.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel: open your iPhone's Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > Void Deck > Cancel Subscription. Void Deck cannot process cancellations directly.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Premium personalization may reset or become unavailable if the subscription expires, is revoked, cannot be verified, is linked to another account, your account is deleted, or your account is restricted. App Store billing and entitlement state are verified through Apple and backend systems.
Void Deck uses a mix of public sources, third-party providers, backend proxies, device location, cached data, and app processing. Examples include NEA/data.gov.sg information, LTA-related transit and traffic data, WeatherAPI-style forecasts, Google Places, Google Directions, and Google Geocoding. Source availability can change.
No. Local information is for convenience. It may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by provider changes. For emergencies, public health decisions, travel-critical decisions, transport disruptions, official notices, or lottery results, check official sources directly.
Yes. Signed-in users can save places from Makan where available. Saved places depend on third-party place data and may change, disappear, or become inaccurate if provider data changes.
Depending on how you use the app, Void Deck may process account details, phone verification data, profile information, posts, comments, votes, reports, follows, blocks, saved items, moderation records, notification preferences, subscription status, uploaded images, location-related data, place data, advertising or consent-related data, support messages, analytics, and technical logs. The current backend and related processing may use Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and content safety or moderation support may use Microsoft Azure and other listed providers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
The Data & Storage screen may show a summary such as post count, comment count, and saved count. For a formal access request under Singapore's PDPA, email info@voiddeckapp.com. We may need to verify your identity and may limit requests where permitted by law.
Go to Settings > Data & Storage > Clear Cache. This removes locally cached images and network data from your device. It does not affect your account or posts.
You may be able to delete your own posts or comments where the app offers that control. Deleted content may remain in backups, moderation records, audit logs, reports, cached data, or residual copies where permitted or required for safety, legal, technical, or operational reasons.
For questions, issues, feedback, privacy requests, or moderation concerns, email info@voiddeckapp.com. Response times may vary depending on volume, complexity, verification requirements, safety concerns, and operational availability.
Email info@voiddeckapp.com with a description of the issue, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, your app version if known, and relevant screenshots. Do not include passwords, full payment details, private third-party data, or unnecessary sensitive information.
